Allow me to introduce myself. I am a self-taught painter. For years, my road has been a succession of trials.

“Painting is a self-expression”

This expression is so difficult to reach. For the last 30 years, I tried so many times to express myself through painting. But the results did not reflect me.  I could not succeed in expressing who I truly am.  My paintings were very nice looking but empty of any expression.  The essence I needed to share was missing.  I put away my brushes and thought that this form of art was not for me.

However, life is a great and patient teacher and after many years full of enriching experiences, including a few very trying ones, this self-expression emerged. Creation after creation, my style, my brand, my authenticity came to light. Eureka!  The very emotions I had so long searched for were finally there to share.  

Now, I can finally deploy my creative power. I live my passion in a harmonious way, with discipline, constancy and perseverance. Each creation helps me in my evolution towards a greater expression of who I am. And especially towards my contribution through my art: Making people happy.

One of my grandchildren, Sara-Maude, gave me that such lovely name, Lalie, 12 years ago. Her sisters, brothers, cousins ​​followed that tradition. So since that day, we are grandpa Andrew and Lalie. My adoptive family is the source of who I am today. This family so precious for me.
